The whole twitter experience has been a real eye opener for me. I have never been much of a technological person but I can say I am truly amazed how much information is out there and the resources you can us off of twitter. The Twitterdeck has been amazing. I have never heard of this until this class. It made things a lot of fun throughout this course being able to follow everybody.
The most interesting people I got to follow on twitter were Corrie Wohlers, Kim Barents, and Matt Argotsinger. The thing that made what they had to say so interesting is that we are in the same school district but in different buildings. We dont get a lot of time to collaborate amongst buildings so it made it very easy to communicate. The fact that they received their chromebooks was interesting because we dont receive ours until November. Being able to hear about some of the challenges they have faced will help in the future.
I will definitely continue to use twitter on the personal level. It is a great way to communicate with others. Professionally I will use this to use the resources that it offers and once we have our chromebooks possibly use to post to classes about upcoming events or what they will need for class.

Free Technology for Teachers
In looking through Richard Byrne "Free Technology for Teachers", I was amazed at all the resources that are really out there for teachers and their and their discipline area. As a PE teacher I never knew there were so many educational outlets out there. The technology really does give teachers and students a very reliable resource.
I could see where there are some avenues that this could be used in my classroom. With each student in our high school receiving their own chromebook in November it could be another resource for all staff including myself.
As far as making a blog for my classes I would want to do some more research into this area before diving in to deep. Again the nice thing about technology is there are plenty of resources out there for you to look at and us as a reference.
